Lamon Lanier, a 34-year-old male, was fatally shot in Albany, New York, in a tragic incident that unfolded in the early morning hours. The shooting occurred around 1 a.m. on July 23, 2021, near the intersection of Willett Street and Hudson Avenue, an area adjacent to Washington Park. Lanier sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital in critical condition.
