Tyree Fleming, a 14-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 3, 2018, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident occurred when 17-year-old Arnold Smith, also African American, was reportedly playing with a gun that accidentally discharged, resulting in Tyree's death. The Baton Rouge Police Department confirmed that the shooting was accidental, and Smith was subsequently arrested and charged with negligent homicide.
