On December 9, 2023, a deadly shooting occurred in the area of N. 32nd Street and Bogan Walk in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The victim, Ricky Scott, a 23-year-old male, arrived at a local hospital in a personal vehicle after being shot around 11:40 p.m..
Upon arrival at the hospital, Scott was immediately rushed into surgery due to the severity of his injuries. However, he succumbed to his wounds and died as a result of the gunshot injuries he sustained.
