In a quiet Baton Rouge neighborhood, a story of familial tragedy unfolded, leaving a community in shock and a large family grieving an unexpected loss. John Brown, a 79-year-old man, was discovered deceased in his residence on Leonidas Drive on a Saturday in September. The cause of his death was determined to be two gunshot wounds, one of which was to his head.
