In the late hours of a Monday evening in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the life of 22-year-old Malaakk Ross was tragically cut short. On January 8, 2024, sheriff's deputies responded to a call of a shooting at an apartment complex in the 8600 block of Old Hermitage Parkway, near Gardere Lane. There, they discovered the young man's body in the doorway of his own apartment.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office confirmed that Ross had been shot to death at approximately 11:40 p.m.
