On a warm evening in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, tragedy struck Donte Tate, a 29-year-old male. It was shortly after 9:45 p.m. on Monday, June 12, 2023, when gunfire erupted in the 5300 block of Paige Street. Tate was standing with several other people in front of a store when the shots were fired.
Emergency services were called to the scene, and Tate was quickly transported to a local hospital for treatment of his gunshot wounds.
Despite the efforts of medical personnel, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The incident left the community shaken and his family devastated.
