On a summer evening in Baton Rouge, tragedy struck a local family when 17-year-old Eddie Mason Jr. was fatally shot in a drive-by incident. The shooting occurred on a Tuesday night in July 2016, while Mason was standing outside his residence on Bradley Street. A vehicle reportedly passed by his home, and an occupant or occupants opened fire, striking the teenager.
