In the brazen light of day, on February 25, 2022, the life of 19-year-old Clifton Lindsey was violently cut short in a hail of bullets. He was a Black male. The deadly encounter unfolded near the Mall of Louisiana in Baton Rouge, at the intersection of Bluebonnet Boulevard and Picardy Avenue. Lindsey was a passenger in a vehicle that was relentlessly targeted in a drive-by shooting. The car was riddled with over 70 bullets, a testament to the brutal intensity of the attack.
