In the early morning hours of October 10, 2024, the streets of Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood were shattered by the sound of gunfire. At approximately 4:28 a.m., police responded to reports of a shooting on the 3900 block of Kensington Avenue. Upon their arrival, they discovered a 29-year-old man, James Ward, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
