Salim Ellis, a 26-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on September 1, 2020, in Philadelphia, PA. He was found shot in the park at 1000 W. Hunting Park Avenue. When Philadelphia Police officers arrived at the scene at 9:44 a.m., Salim was lying on his back, unresponsive, and suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate medical attention, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
