Frank "Barracuda" Sindone, aged 52, was a notorious loan shark and soldier in the Bruno crime family of Philadelphia. Known for his ruthless tactics, Sindone was heavily involved in illegal gambling and narcotics trafficking. On October 29, 1980, he was found dead in an alley behind a variety store in South Philadelphia, having been shot three times in the head.
