In the evening hours of a summer day in Philadelphia, tragedy struck the 4300 block of Wyalusing Avenue. On Saturday, July 1, 2023, at approximately 8:53 p.m., the sound of gunfire shattered the neighborhood's calm. When Philadelphia Police officers arrived at the scene, they found 29-year-old Mark Cannon Moore Jr., a Black male, lying unresponsive in the street. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
