In the spring of 2014, the life of 25-year-old Travis D'André Mitchell was tragically cut short in his native Baton Rouge, Louisiana. On the evening of April 2nd, Mitchell was at a residence on America Street when he was fatally wounded by gunfire. The incident, which unfolded around 8:30 p.m., left the local community shaken and searching for answers.
