In the late hours of a Sunday night in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the life of 36-year-old Jason Nixon, a male resident of the city, was tragically cut short. On March 29, 2020, Nixon was discovered in the parking lot of a Cousin's Food Mart on Airline Highway, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The discovery was made shortly after 10:00 PM, a time when the city was otherwise settling into a quiet evening.
