On a Sunday morning in Little Rock, Arkansas, tragedy struck 30-year-old Ernesto Olmos. On September 18, 2022, at approximately 11:45 A.M., police officers from the Southwest Patrol Division were dispatched to the Murphy Express gas station located at 8800 Baseline Road following a report of a shooting that had just taken place.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered Mr. Olmos suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
Emergency medical personnel were immediately requested and arrived at the scene to render aid. Olmos was rushed to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in critical condition. Despite the efforts of medical staff, he ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
In the aftermath of the shooting, Homicide Detectives were called in to lead the investigation. The next of kin, including his wife, Tiffany Olmos, were notified of the tragic event. The Pulaski County Coroner's Office took possession of Mr. Olmos's body to be transported to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for an autopsy.
