Marquis Harper, a 21-year-old resident of Little Rock, Arkansas, was fatally shot on October 25, 2023. The incident occurred at the Bella Vista Apartments located at 6510 Mabelvale Cut Off Road in the southwest part of the city. Police officers responded to a shots fired call at approximately 8:00 p.m. and found Harper deceased from gunshot wounds at the scene.
