On October 12, 2018, at approximately 1:44 a.m., Little Rock police responded to a shooting at the Oak Ridge Apartments on Mabelvale Cutoff Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered 32-year-old Levon Sales Jr. lying in the driveway, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. His body was subsequently transported to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for autopsy.
