On April 17, 2019, at approximately 1:18 a.m., the Little Rock Police Department responded to reports of multiple gunshots in the 2400 block of Cross Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 32-year-old Jose Castro deceased from gunshot wounds inside a white Chevrolet Suburban. Two other men, Randy Canela and Arnaldo Marengo, were found with gunshot injuries. Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital and were reported to have non-life-threatening injuries.
