In the early evening of September 23, 2019, the sound of multiple gunshots shattered the calm at the Eagle Nest Apartments on Falcon Court in Little Rock, Arkansas. Responding to reports, officers from the Little Rock Police Department arrived at approximately 6:17 p.m. to a grim scene. They discovered 21-year-old Kadavieus Sanders, a Black male, lying in the parking lot, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
