In Little Rock, Arkansas, on a Saturday evening in August, the life of 30-year-old Robert Dewayne Hubbard was tragically cut short. On August 14, 2021, a Black male, Hubbard was found on Labette Drive, having sustained a gunshot wound. Emergency services were called to the scene, but Hubbard was pronounced dead. His body was subsequently transported to the state crime lab for an autopsy to officially determine the cause of death.
The Little Rock Police Department immediately launched a
homicide investigation into the shooting. Their efforts led to the identification of two suspects in connection with Hubbard's death. The first suspect, Antonio Dodson, and the second, Roderick Hall, who is also referred to as Roderick Hill in some reports, were identified as being involved in the fatal shooting.
Following the investigation, both Dodson and Hall were apprehended by law enforcement. Antonio Dodson and Roderick Hall were both charged with capital murder for their alleged roles in the death of Robert Hubbard. After their arrests, both men were held in the Pulaski County jail.
