In the winter of 2017, a dispute outside a business on North 23rd Street in Baton Rouge irrevocably altered the course of several lives. On January 20th, 35-year-old Devin Johnese was involved in an argument that tragically escalated. In the heat of the moment, a gun was drawn, and Johnese was shot multiple times.
