Fernell Richmond, a 41-year-old African American man from New Orleans, Louisiana, was tragically shot and killed on December 25, 2017. The incident occurred in the Central City neighborhood, just before midnight in the 3300 block of First Street. Richmond was found inside a home, having been shot multiple times. The Orleans Parish Coroner's office confirmed his death at the scene.
