De'Quan "Snupe" Roland Dew, a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 24, 2020, in New Orleans, Louisiana. De'Quan was found shot in a vehicle in the 3400 block of Mansfield in Algiers at approximately 9:30 p.m. on that fateful day. He was a young man with a bright future, having been educated in the Orleans Parish school system and attended Dillard University for some time.
