On November 30, 2024, at approximately 4:25 p.m., the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) responded to a shooting incident in the 6700 block of Tara Lane, located in the West Lake Forest neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency Medical Services pronounced both victims deceased at the scene.
