Richard A. Bailey, a 21-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on June 30, 2014, in New Orleans, LA. The incident occurred on Kennedy Street in St. Rose, a neighborhood in St. Charles Parish. According to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office, the shooting was the result of a drug deal gone wrong. Officers responded to the scene after residents reported hearing gunfire around 5 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Bailey's body, which had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
