In the quiet city of Opelousas, Louisiana, a tragic discovery shattered the community on December 1, 2022. On that Thursday, 21-year-old Samijah Leday, a female resident, was found deceased alongside 19-year-old Alexie Joubert. The two young women were discovered inside a red Chevrolet Cruze parked in the driveway of an apartment complex on Ina Claire Drive. The vehicle was riddled with an excess of 50 bullet holes, telling a grim story of the violence that had unfolded.
