Alexie Joubert, a 19-year-old African American woman from Opelousas, Louisiana, tragically lost her life on December 1, 2022. She was one of the two victims in a drive-by shooting that occurred on the 1200 block of Ina Clara Drive. The other victim was 21-year-old Samijah Leday. Both women were sitting in a parked car when they were fatally shot by multiple rounds of gunfire.
