In July 1997, the life of 26-year-old Carolyn Breaux Nichols, a resident of Opelousas, Louisiana, was tragically cut short. Her body, along with that of another victim, Tamika Blake Wilson, was discovered abandoned near the St. Landry Parish Airport. The grim discovery was made by a passer-by, setting in motion an investigation into their untimely deaths.
