On March 31, 2020, 44-year-old Kotwang DeShasta Childs, an African American woman, was tragically killed in Macon, Georgia. Her life was cut short during a violent altercation at a residence on Moreland Avenue, where she became one of three victims in a devastating triple homicide. Also killed in the incident were her 67-year-old mother, Janet Wimberly Samuels, and 69-year-old James Samuel.
