On June 17, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in the 3700 block of Napier Avenue near Atlantic Avenue in Macon, Georgia. The incident was reported to the Macon-Bibb Emergency-911 Center at 11:22 p.m..
Upon arrival, deputies from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office found 35-year-old Teresa McKenney unresponsive with a gunshot wound. Deputy Coroner Ronnie Miley pronounced McKenney deceased at the scene.
