On December 13, 2015, Ta'Shuntis Alexus Roberts, a 14-year-old African American girl from Macon, Georgia, tragically lost her life in a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred just after 6 p.m. when a gunman fired multiple shots at her home on Lindwood Drive. Ta'Shuntis was inside the house when she was struck by the gunfire. Despite efforts to save her, she was pronounced dead shortly after the shooting.
