Shakema Dickson, a 30-year-old African American woman from Macon, GA, tragically lost her life on November 7, 2019. The incident occurred in her home on Pio Nono Circle, where an unknown assailant entered and began shooting. Shakema was attempting to protect her 2-year-old daughter, Korri, when she was fatally shot. Despite her efforts, both Shakema and her daughter sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
