In the early morning hours of June 17, 2026, a tragic scene unfolded inside a home on Izard Street in Omaha, Nebraska, marking a grim end to the lives of a married couple. George Jencks, a 68-year-old man, and his 65-year-old wife, Ruchell, were discovered deceased in their residence by their son. The initial call to authorities came at approximately 1:33 a.m., sending officers to the home near 85th and Izard Streets where they found both individuals with fatal gunshot wounds.
