Robert Somerville, a 31-year-old Black man, was shot on Sunday, May 23, 2010, in North Omaha and died from his wounds. He was found behind a residence on Willis Avenue, near the 24th and Lake area, a neighborhood that had been shaken by multiple shootings that weekend. Burial records list his full name as Robert Lemario Somerville and confirm the May 23 date and his age.
