Cameron R. Harris, 26, a Black male, was out with family and friends the night a crowded house party near North 34th and Parker Streets in Omaha was cut apart by gunfire. Shortly after 2 a.m. on January 24, 2015, shots from multiple shooters tore through the vacant home packed with as many as 50 people. Two women, 19-year-old JaKela Foster and 24-year-old Latecia Fox, were pronounced dead at the scene; Harris was rushed to the hospital, where he died hours later.
