In Macon, Georgia, a tragic event unfolded in the early morning hours of June 12, 2015, ending the life of 46-year-old Kendra Monique Jackson. She was found in the bedroom of her fiancé's Bel Meade Place home with a fatal gunshot wound to the head. The fiancé, William C. Pounds III, a local pastor, initially told responding deputies that Jackson had taken her own life. He claimed they had been arguing about the end of their relationship when she picked up his handgun and shot herself.
