In the autumn of 2022, a sense of shock and sorrow befell a Columbus, Georgia community when 64-year-old Ursula Dietz, a White female, was found dead in her Hilton Avenue home on October 10th. Alongside her was her 19-month-old granddaughter, Elenor Dietz, who had also tragically lost her life. The grim discovery was made in the afternoon, and both victims were pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 2:00 p.m. The cause of their deaths was determined to be multiple gunshot wounds.
