Donnie R. Sweeney, a 32-year-old male of unspecified ethnicity, tragically lost his life on July 22, 2004, in Huber Heights, Ohio. Sweeney was assisting his friend Rhonda Short, who was moving out of her home with her children, when they were both shot by Rhonda's estranged husband, Duane Short. Duane Short, 43, had purchased a shotgun and sawed off its barrel before going to Rhonda's new residence and committing the murders.
