On a tragic evening, 27-year-old Amy Federici, an up-and-coming interior decorator, became an unfortunate victim of a senseless act of violence. On December 7, 1993, a gunman opened fire on a busy Long Island Rail Road commuter train during the evening rush hour. Amy was the last person shot by the assailant.
