Clara Toriello, a 21-year-old woman, was found dead on April 13, 1972, in her ground-floor apartment in Jamaica, Queens, New York. Clara, a blonde secretary and the fiancée of a New York City police officer, was discovered by her sister at around 7 a.m. that morning.
