Tamar Sermons, a 20-year-old college student from Queens, New York, tragically lost her life on October 31, 2014. She was fatally shot outside Club Hive, a nightclub located on Queens Boulevard in Elmhurst. The incident occurred around 4:05 a.m. when a fight between two men inside the club spilled out onto the street. During the altercation, shots were fired, and Tamar was struck in the neck and leg.
