In a tragic turn of events, 15-year-old Alexis Anderson was found dead on the night of June 18, 2014, inside a residence in the Jamaica neighborhood of Queens, New York. The young female had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to her head. The location of her death was described by authorities as an abandoned home on 106th Road, near 180th Street, that was being used by squatters and was known as a place for drug activity.
