Mildred Greene, aged 61, was tragically shot and killed on October 4, 1987, while working as a radio dispatcher at Big D's Car Service in Jamaica, Queens, New York. Her death was a direct result of her involvement as a witness in a prior shooting incident. On September 2, 1987, Greene witnessed a shooting outside Big D's Car Service, where four men were injured.
