In the summer of 2023, a horrific sequence of events unfolded in a Queens, New York, home, leading to the death of 58-year-old Cheryl Myrick. The grim discovery began on July 5, 2023, when a passerby reported a foul odor emanating from a large garbage bag left on the curb on 104th Street in East Elmhurst.
