On December 16, 2024, at approximately 1:15 a.m., Jennifer Navarrete, a 32-year-old woman from Queens, New York, was found deceased in her residence on 14th Road near 119th Street in the College Point neighborhood. She had sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical services.
