Jaquan Gause, a 16-year-old from Brooklyn, NY, tragically lost his life following a drive-by shooting on August 16, 2021. Jaquan was behind the wheel of his father's Mercedes-Benz when he was shot in the head at a red light at the intersection of Schenck and Atlantic Avenues in East New York. The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m., and Jaquan was accompanied by two friends, an 18-year-old male and a 19-year-old female, who were also injured but survived.
