In the summer of 2019, a man from Brooklyn named Julius Caesar lost his life in a violent encounter on the streets of Crown Heights. At 31 years of age, the male victim was fatally shot in the head on the evening of Monday, July 8th. The incident unfolded around 5:40 p.m. on Union Street, near Utica Avenue, where Caesar was seated in a car.
