In the Flatlands neighborhood of Brooklyn, a bright life was tragically cut short on a Tuesday afternoon. Ethan Holder, a 19-year-old male, had just finished his day's work as a substitute paraprofessional at Public School 203 on October 11, 2022. As he walked home shortly before 3 p.m., he was fatally shot in the head. The brazen attack occurred on Avenue M, where the assailant fired multiple shots at Holder from across the street without any words being exchanged.
