In the East Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn, a burst of gunfire on the night of January 10, 2023, ended the life of 36-year-old Philson Andrews. The fatal encounter occurred around 9:30 p.m. near a seafood restaurant at the intersection of East 56th Street and Church Avenue. Officers from the 67th Precinct arrived at the scene to find Andrews with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
