Malcolm Amede, an 18-year-old from Brooklyn, New York, was tragically killed on August 19, 2020, in a double shooting incident near Prospect Park. Amede was on his way to a memorial for another gun violence victim, Paul Pinkney, when he was gunned down at the intersection of Ocean and Woodruff Avenues.
